CoolTech Aircon landing page: turning "my aircon's broken" panic into a WhatsApp booking, on one page

A breakdown of a single-page landing for an on-site service business. It's a concept demo, not a real client project: built to show how aircon / repair services should be designed. Below: the "why" behind every decision.

⚡ At a glance

This page has exactly one job: take a stranger whose aircon just died and get them to tap "WhatsApp" within 60 seconds. Here's the shape of it:

Industry On-site service / aircon repair
Tier Single-page Plus · from RM 1,000
The one goal Hot-intent visitor → WhatsApp booking
Primary CTA One-tap WhatsApp (pre-filled)
Palette Navy #123A6B + action orange #F5821F

The desktop hero of the CoolTech concept demo: urgency-first headline, a trust summary, and an orange WhatsApp CTA, all before the first scroll.

Picture the moment this page is built for: it's the hottest afternoon of the year in KL, and the living-room aircon suddenly stops blowing cold. You grab your phone, Google "aircon service PJ", and tap the first link. You're not going to read a company history. You only want to know three things: can they come today, how much, and can I trust them? This page is designed for that exact person, in that exact moment.

01One page, one kind of visitor, so it dares to subtract

Whoever opens this is high-intent, a little anxious, on a phone, and probably has three competitor tabs open comparing. That single profile decides everything: no brand-story maze, no navigation rabbit holes. The whole page is one slide-down line: panic → reassurance → book.

A landing page isn't a smaller website. It's one argument, made once, ending in one action. Every section either moves the visitor toward booking, or it gets cut.

02The hero sells "fixed today", not the company name

The demo's headline is "Aircon Problems? We Fix It Today." The first screen doesn't say "CoolTech, established in…" it answers the one sentence already running in the visitor's head: can you sort this out today? Right under it sits a one-line trust summary (Licensed · Same-day · 5,000+ homes) and a big orange button, Request a Quote, that opens WhatsApp with the message already written. They can book before they've even scrolled.

03Answer "how much ah?" before they ask

The biggest friction in on-site service is opaque pricing. So this page lays the numbers out instead of hiding them behind "DM for quote": four clear services, and two packages with real prices on the page.

Services on the page Chemical Wash · General Service · Gas Top-up · Installation
Basic Package RM 80 / unit (min 2)
Premium Package (with 30-day warranty) RM 200 / unit

Why it works: the customer doesn't have to message to ask, and doesn't have to worry about being charged "by face". Transparency is itself a trust signal, and it quietly filters out the wrong-budget enquiries, leaving the people who'll actually book.

04Making a stranger open the door: stacking trust

The trust bar here is far higher than F&B: the customer is letting a stranger into their home. So the page packs in trust signals, and each one answers a doubt the customer never says out loud:

  • Licensed technicians · same-day service · no hidden fees: the three lines that answer "are you legit, fast, and fair?"
  • A wall of brands serviced: instant "they've handled my unit before" credibility
  • A real job gallery, written by area: Condo in Damansara, Office in PJ, Landed home in Shah Alam. A local customer thinks "oh, he's worked in my area"
  • Customer reviews + star ratings: other people already trusted them, so you can too
  • A 30-day warranty: removes the "what if it breaks again" risk

The point: none of these are decoration. Each block is doing a specific job: quietly closing one objection so the visitor runs out of reasons not to book.

05Why every CTA bets on WhatsApp, not a contact form

In Malaysia, customers don't fill in forms. They WhatsApp you. A form means waiting for a reply and feels "official"; WhatsApp starts a conversation with one line: "can you come today?". So the dozen entry points on this page all funnel to the same low-friction action: one tap to WhatsApp, with the message pre-filled. Lower friction, more bookings.

06Why navy and orange, not a field of blue

The palette isn't random. Deep navy (#123A6B) reads as steady and grown-up: cooler than a bright tech blue, which matters when you're asking someone to let a stranger into their home. Orange (#F5821F) carries every call to action: it's the colour of heat and urgency, it sits opposite navy on the wheel so it has nowhere to hide, and it out-punches green on a dark ground. WhatsApp green steps back to the floating button, instantly recognised without competing with the hero. Type is Poppins for headings (modern, crisp) and Open Sans for body (easy to read): professional, but not cold.

Run an on-site service: aircon, plumbing, cleaning, phone repair? This same single-page Plus playbook drops straight onto your business. Look at the live demo, then WhatsApp me for 5 minutes. I'll tell you which trust signals your trade specifically needs.

The whole thing, in one line

On-site service landing = a hero that answers urgency × prices laid out up front × local trust stacked high × one-tap WhatsApp. You're not selling aircon. You're selling "today, reliable, won't get ripped off".

Questions I get asked a lot

How should a landing page for an on-site service or repair business be designed? +
On-site services (aircon, plumbing, cleaning, phone repair) suit the enhanced single page, from RM 1,000. The design points: answer the urgency in the first screen (something like 'fixed today'), put the services and prices out in the open early, then carry trust signals down the whole page (licensed technicians, same-day visits, no surprise charges, a local portfolio, genuine reviews and a warranty) with every CTA pointing at one-tap WhatsApp.
Why should an aircon service website publish its prices? +
The biggest friction in on-site service is not knowing what it will cost. Put the services and package prices on the page (say RM 80 per unit for basic and RM 200 per unit for premium) and the customer does not have to message for a quote or worry about being priced by the look of them. Transparency is a trust signal in itself, and it filters out the wrong budgets while keeping the people who will actually book.
What trust signals does an on-site service website need? +
The customer is letting a stranger into the house, so the trust bar is high. The signals worth showing: licensed technicians, same-day service, no surprise charges, brands you have worked on, a real portfolio written by area (a Damansara condo, a PJ office, a Shah Alam terrace), customer reviews with ratings, and a warranty promise such as 30 days. Each one answers a doubt the customer never says out loud.
Why does the CTA use WhatsApp instead of a contact form? +
In Malaysia customers reach out on WhatsApp, not through forms. A form means waiting for a reply and feels official; on WhatsApp 'can you come today?' starts the conversation immediately. So every entry point on the page funnels into the same low-friction action: one-tap WhatsApp with the message pre-filled. The lower the friction, the more bookings.
What does an on-site service landing page like this cost, and how long does it take? +
A single-page Plus like this one is from RM 1,000 at H2ODreamer Studio, usually delivered in 3–7 days, with WhatsApp integration, basic SEO and Google tracking as standard. Start on one page and upgrade to a multi-page corporate site once the business grows.
